Take a look at our facilities and some of the activities you could have a go at during your stay.
I am passionate about building horse and rider partnerships and enjoy coaching riders in a way that develops both confidence and expertise whilst at the same time having fun. I love to spend time building trust and relationships in order to help everyone achieve, feel success and build self belief so that people can enjoy and get the most of their hobby. Choose the time, day and content of your session to suit.
If your visit coincides with one of our yard activity days feel free to join in with the fun! From spooky Halloween pole work to Christmas games extravaganzas and everything in between. Join in with our fun dressage or show jumping competitions and display your rosette with pride!
Often people come to spend time with their horse away from the hustle and bustle of a busy yard. With miles of tracks and hacking straight from the yard you are free to experience the freedom and joy, either with or without one of our maps! Tack up and off you go!
We are happy to arrange and accompany you on rides. Perhaps you just need a little help getting your horse out and about, maybe you like company, or maybe you just want to know the way to the nearest pub or field suitable for a canter! We can arrange to meet you and your friends to bring your picnic or help you to plan a perfect route.
Often people are happy to pop their horses in a paddock for the duration of their stay. Our paddocks are well maintained, free from poisonous plants and have access to clean, fresh water.
Our stables are spacious, safe and secure. They are all within close access to a yard tap for filling water buckets and are fully rubber matted. They are all fitted with tie up rings and we are happy for you to bring your own bedding and feed or we can supply it for you on request.
The parking area for trailers and wagons is spacious and well designed offering plenty of room to manoeuvre, load and unload. There's ample space for easy parking and safe turning, ensuring a smooth stress free experience.
You are required to have up to date vaccinations and a worming record (faecal worm egg counts/ELIZA test results). You must declare in advance of your visit that your horse is free from disease and will be refused accommodation if your horse shows any symptoms of illness on arrival. We ask that you take your horses temperature and that it is within the normal healthy range 37.5-38.5 C
We ask you to take simple steps to promote good hygiene and help prevent the spread of disease. Our procedures ensure visiting horses have their own water source and separate fields to ensure non-resident horses are kept apart from our resident horses. We ask you to prevent direct and indirect contact between horses and ensure high standards of hygiene during your stay.
We have a selection of equipment available for use by visiting owners including a wheelbarrow, brush, shovel and shavings fork. Please bring your own feed and water buckets, grooming kit, rugs, headcollar and tack.
You are responsible for ensuring your stable is kept clean and tidy and that the paddock is kept free from droppings.
You are free to access our arenas if they are not in use for a lesson, or by our livery customers.
Weather permitting we often have a dressage arena/jumps on grass which are also available for use.
There is an area to tie horses up and a hose pipe available.
We are lucky to be surrounded with a number of excellent equestrian venues that often host competitions and hires.
