Pony Days

Have fun, make new friends and learn new skills.

With over 20 years experience as a primary school teacher and coach I love nothing more than a pony day! The social side to riding is fabulous for raising self esteem and confidence and promotes well being and the 'feel good' factor.

Bring your pony, have fun, get dirty, play games, learn and practise new skills!

Adult fun days also available.

Train for BHS Recreational Awards

Develop your confidence, skills and knowledge with all things horsey.

These awards are for anyone who simply loves horses and wants to learn more about them without formal assessments. You can choose the most important topics for you and work at your own pace towards each award. No matter what experience you have, there are various awards at different levels that you can enjoy.

Fun Leisure Riding Experiences

Enjoy Every Ride

Leisure riding is not just about the destination but the journey as well. Our coaching services aim to enrich your riding experience, making it enjoyable and fulfilling regardless of your riding style. Whether you want to explore scenic trails, enjoy a relaxed ride in our paddocks, or even join in with an in house dressage, show jumping or games fun day we will try to ensure every moment spent with your horse is a great one.

Holistic and Individualised Approach to Equine Wellbeing

Building a Strong Foundation

In addition to riding techniques, we emphasise the importance of comprehensive horse care and welfare. Our coaching promotes understanding of equine behaviour and healthcare, enabling you to not only excel in riding but also become a more knowledgeable horse owner. This holistic approach is essential for the well-being of both horse and rider, allowing for a truly rewarding partnership. Each session is aimed at building confidence and improving your synergy with your equine partner.

Diana Bowes

British Horse Society Accredited Professional Coach

I am passionate about building horse and rider partnerships and enjoy coaching riders in a way that develops both confidence and expertise whilst at the same time having fun. I am a qualified school teacher and bring with me many years experience with neurodiverse children and adults. I love to spend time building trust and relationships in order to help everyone achieve, feel success and build self belief so that people can enjoy and get the most of their hobby. I have many years experience running and managing riding schools, competing myself and supporting my 3 children who are all active and successful members of both riding club and pony club. I enjoy teaching from my own yard and am happy to travel to nearby yards.
